Elaine is a patron for Theatrecares which is the UK theatres response to HIV and AIDS, facilitated by Crusaid.

For 15 years, Theatrecares has been raising funds to support people living with HIV and AIDS, to prevent the spread of the virus, and to search for a vaccine and a cure.

With more people infected with HIV in the UK and worldwide than ever before, the calls for help have never been greater. Theatrecares works in the UK and internationally to improve the lives of people affected by HIV and AIDS and to prevent the spread of the virus. They fund projects worldwide; projects that rebuild lives and communities decimated by HIV and AIDS. Working with established partners, the projects funded are sustainable and involve the communities that benefit from them.
